The work begins with objects — things to be held, placed, and returned to.

Each piece is developed over time, often through repetition. Forms are adjusted, and small differences remain. Nothing is made to be exact.

No intention to oppose. Not quite aligned.

Things sit slightly off — slower, softer, just out of line.

Within order, a quiet deviation. Within restraint, a sense of ease.

In a room, the objects may not centre themselves, but they do not disappear either.

They remain — present, but never entirely held.
